The trabàccolo was a typical Venetian boat-form that dates back to the first half of the 15th century and that spread throughout the Adriatic. She goes by many name variants such as trabakul, trabakuo, trabacalo or trabakula. The vessel could be up to 30m. (98.5 ft.) in length, up to 6m. (19.7ft.) in beam and up to 2m. (6.5ft.) in draft. Easy to maintain and handle, reliable but slow, she was used for a variety of duties and could carry between 50 to 200 tons of cargo. This beautiful model kit comes with furnished interiors, stores and cabins, adding a dimension of interest. One of my favorites, this model is however designed for the more experienced modeler. The resulting model will be fabulous at the scale of 1:32 (32in/ 81cm)
